Hello!

A simple, extremely normal story: Born in Turkey, studied philosophy and Turkish literature. Loved some men talking about life in pages. Has been an instructor at a university in İstanbul for 14 years, teaching Turkish writing and reading skills. 

When I lost my beloved mother in 2018, I turned to my childhood, searching something to distract me. Started embroidering, had some workshops. In no time, I do not know how, I found myself sewing in hand. August 2019 was the time I had my first sewing machine.

I started to design and sew kids dresses, under inspiration of my daughter. Opened an instagram account to show my works to people. The name "Klimmarum" is a word from no language, which my daughter created as a name for her doll. I was inspired by this and thought it would be the best name I can find!

In 2020, we moved to Bristol, dived into a new life. I was now not teaching any more. From then, the road has gone to bags, dresses gone. In the point I am standing on, I just can not believe I had a new road after my 14 working years.

Now I have been selling online for about 3 years and hundreds of my bags are in use.
